WEEKLY WORKOUTS
SATURDAY BETTY RUNS

Each week is a different pre-planned route, of various distance, over the roads and (sometimes) trails of North Attleboro and the surrounding communities. These social runs are for female (and male) runners of all abilities, usually starting from the SheeDog's house at 8:00AM BETTY TIME SHARP. The start location can vary from time-to-time so always check out the current Weekly Word or Event Calendar for this week's details. Please RSVP with Sandy at ssheehy@mindspring.com if you're interested. These runs are held rain or shine!

SUNDAY WAMP RUNS

Meet up at DB SPORTS Sunday mornings, 8ish AM WAMP time. Come one, come all! These are the quintessential WAMP club runs that are held year round for runners of all abilities and persuasions. There are several routes available covering distances from 6 to 20+ miles. Some of the routes can be found under Running Routes. Just show up an go. These runs are held rain or shine.

 
TUESDAY MORNING TRACK WORKOUTS

WEDNESDAY EVENING SPRING/SUMMER/FALL TRACK WORKOUTS

Track workouts are starting up again on 5/5/10.

Wednesday nights at the North Attleboro High School track. 6:15 START TIME. That means the workout starts at 6:15! Get there early to warm up. All abilities welcome. The easiest way to get fast is to use the track.

New for this year, monthly track workout plans will be published in advance. Here is the plan for June:

9/08 - Ladder: 1200m, 800m, 400m, 400m, 800m, 1200m...MILE 400m rest in between intervals; 800m rest before mile. Mile should be at 5k race pace or better.

9/15 - 10x800m: 400m rest in between pace should be 5k race pace or better

9/22 - 3x1600m(5x200m striders) 800m rest in between. pace should be 5k race pace or better; striders should be at 90% effort

9/29 - 16x400m(100m rest) 400m rest after 8: pace should be 5k race pace or better

 
THURSDAY MORNING WORKOUTS

5:30am. Departure location varies, but often leave from DB Sports, or Hayden St in Foxboro. For more information and exact meeting locale, email Terri RizzoAll abilities welcome and encouraged to participate.

 
TRI TEAM SWIMS

The current water temp at Lake Massapoag is at a boiling point so regular summer swims are on! Monday night at 6pm, Wed night at 6pm, Friday morning 6am.  Contact Alan Westman for more information.

Parking: Please remember that the police patrol the boat launch lot off of Beach Street regularly. There are a few street spots by the tennis courts and a big lot a 100 yards or so down the road on Pond Street across from the high school.wn the road on Pond Street across from the high school.
